A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF RUSSELL, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-4112 WHICH IS A PART OF ARTICLE 41 OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE KANSAS STATUTES ANNOTATED, SO AS TO ALLOW THE MUNICIPAL COURT OF THE CITY OF RUSSELL KANSAS, TO IMPOSE COURT COSTS BY SAID COURT AND REPEALING CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 15.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF RUSSELL, KANSAS;

Section l. That the City of Russell, Kansas, a City of the second class, who and by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to exempt itself and does hereby exempt itself from the provisions of K.S.A.12-4112. so as to allow the Municipal Court of the City of Russell, Kansas, to impose Court costs by said Court.

Section 2. The City of Russell, does hereby specifically provide that Russell City Municipal Court costs shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00) to be assessed to each and every case filed in the Municipal Court of the City of Russell, Kansas.
