A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF RUSSELL, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE 1969 SUPPLEMENT TO KANSAS STATUTES ANNOTATED 14-103 INSOFAR AS SAID SECTION PROVIDES FOR THE ELECTION OF CITY OFFICIALS.

Section 1. That the City of Russell, Kansas, a city of the second class, who and by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas hereby elects to exempt itself and does hereby exempt itself from the provisions of section 14-103 of the 1969 Supplement to Kansas Statutes Annotated and makes said section inapplicable to it insofar as said section pertains to the election of city officials.
